Lachute Ford is now officially an authorized representative of the SAAQ for road vehicle inspections.

Periodic Mechanical Audit

• Photometric verification of tinted windows of vehicles
• Periodic mechanical inspection (every 6 or 12 months) for:
  • vehicles weighing less than 4,500 kg: buses and minibuses, emergency vehicles, driving school vehicles
• Mechanical verification for the following vehicles:
  • transformed or modified
  • artisanal fabrication
  • reconstructed
  • re-plating of vehicles that have been stored for more than 12 months
  • who come from outside Quebec and are subject to an application for registration in Québec
• Installation of vehicle identification number plates
• Issuance of mechanical verification certificates
• Issuance of compliance stickers
